An economist by training, his career has been shaped by understanding how government policy influences organisational performance, followed by scaling international franchised food and beverage brands across the UK, with a focus on supply chain design, operational frameworks, and commercial discipline.
As Group Executive Director, Sultan represents shareholder interests and provides strategic oversight across the Group. He operates at the interface between the Board and the Strategic Executive Team, providing governance, challenge, and assurance that agreed strategy is being delivered in line with the Group’s long-term vision, values, and governance standards.
His remit spans financial stewardship, organisational effectiveness, workforce strategy, and brand integrity. He maintains close oversight of budgets, performance frameworks, and cross-site consistency, ensuring accountability, alignment, and disciplined delivery across the portfolio.
Sultan sponsors and evaluates growth initiatives including service expansions, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, and maintains strong relationships all stakeholders. He ensures that all growth decisions are underpinned by robust commercial analysis, prudent capital deployment, and operational readiness.
